MAGMASOFT Software
MAGMASOFT® is the comprehensive and effective optimization tool to improve casting quality, optimize process conditions and reduce production costs. Indeed, using the methodology of Virtual Design of Experiments and Autonomous Optimization, it is possible to establish robust process parameters and cast designs optimized for all casting materials and processes, including heat treatment in an efficient and comprehensive manner.
Through Autonomous Engineering, it is possible to use the simulations with MAGMASOFT® in an automated virtual test plan to find different quality and cost objectives, simultaneously. Extensive knowledge and tangible practical instructions or measures are generated, considering design and process conditions for mold filling, solidification and cooling. The range of results includes from the behavior during the casting and solidification of the piece to residual stresses and distortion, formation of microstructures and local properties.
The software is marketed in its standard version to which different modules are added depending on the client's needs (Steel-Stress-Core & Mold + TT).
